VOLUNTEERISM
Ever since I was little I loved helping people. I tried to donate as much of my free time as possible to organizations that I worked with or believed in. Once I got drafted I knew I needed to not only volunteer at local organizations but give back to the baseball community. I did this by volunteering my time and services not only in the community where I grew up but anywhere I travelled to or lived. Here is a partial list of the organizations that I have volunteered for both present and past.

Victoria Eagles
Aside from being the manager of the 18u Premier baseball team, I work with all of the coaches and player in the organization. The Victoria Eagles has 3 midget aged teams and 2 bantam aged teams. I work with players outside of normal practice hours and volunteer my time to help other coaches at their practices as well.

Lakehill Little League
Since 2014 I have helped Lakehill Little League with their coaching clinics and individual practices. I worked with children from the ages of 5-13. I taught both the kids and coaches the fundamentals of baseball and how to relate that information to others.

The Mustard Seed
When I first came to Canada in 2012 I was not allowed to work because I did not have permanent residency. I was getting bored sitting at home and started looking into organizations I can volunteer with so I could get out of the house and do something productive. I contacted the Mustard Seed, a Christian based homeless outreach center. I helped bring in donations of food and clothes and helped put together food hampers for families in need.

Las Vegas Diablos Baseball Club
The Las Vegas Diablos Baseball Club started as a 14 and under travel baseball team. The team consisted of 13 players that were from low income families. My brother was on the first Diablos team and I volunteered as a coach. 3 years later the Diablos baseball club grew into a non-profit organization with 6 teams aged 8-18 sponsored by New Balance. During that time I sat on the board as the Director of Baseball Operations.
